With over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, Jim is dedicated to a client centered philosophy. With an emphasis on retirement and estate planning, Jim works with clients to help them discover their unique combination of financial needs, goals and attitudes toward risk. Jim believes his clients’ experience is an integral part of their investments. He knows people want more financial freedom, more free time and more meaning from the years ahead. For him, it’s not only about his clients’ financial futures, it’s about their quality of life.

In 1991, Jim completed Business and Sociology degrees from California State University in Sacramento. He went on to join John Hancock as a producer, ultimately becoming manager of over 85 representatives. During this time, he received multiple industry awards for production and service.

He purchased a practice in the Rogue Valley in 2005, from top producer James Liddell.

Jim is member of the Estate Planning Group, working with local attorneys to bring estate planning and trust education to Southern Oregon. He is currently a registered representative with Voya Financial Advisor. He maintains his Series 6, 63, 65, 7, and 24 securities registrations, as well as being licensed to sell life, health, and disability insurances.

Jim finds himself a regular speaker for local business, education and charitable organizations, on topics of estate planning, charitable planning, and foundation and investment planning.

He resides in the Applegate area of Grants Pass with his wife and two children.
